Flipboard The Design Museum in London has announced winners of the Brit Insurance Design Awards. The winner in the interactive category is the Flipboard iPad app, an aggregation app which pulls in social networking site content, custom Flipboard curated content and collections of website categorized by Flipboard. I can’t help but think that this is all too much. Too much aggregation, content, social media, communications, flashy screens, zoomable images and news senttoyouatthatverybreakingmoment. Scary. But it does look sleek, doesn’t it? Maybe this Flipboard thing is like something EVERY iPad user has, I have no idea.
