Mr. Brainwash has to be the nicest and freshest artist that I have met as of late. Totally controlling the crowd at his packed solo exhibit opening entitled “Icons”, he filled 15,000 sq. ft of raw space in the Meatpacking District with works original works mostly depicting pop icons. Ironically, there were additions to his presumed “icon” ranks such as screenprints of Jack Dorsey and Mark Zuckerberg. With style described as a mash-up of Warhol, Pollock and Fairey rolled into one colorful masterpiece - it would be foolish not to check out this exhibit that runs through March 31st. Info here.
